The class was challenging but in SUCH a good way!!!! Candice's exercises were soo fun yet so effective. I felt like I got such a good work out in. Her playlist was amazing and I really enjoyed it! I immediately booked the next IHP class with her after I got into my car! High energy and had you moving a lot without doing boring movements like jumping jacks in between sets. I also loved that she incorporated a fair amount of stretching in between sets as well. I would say she’s a beginner friendly class but an intermediate level can still have a challenging workout.

The studio has a bathroom, bathroom with shower and a shower in separate private rooms. There is also a vanity if you need to get ready after class. The doors to the workout area are beautiful and designed to make no noise when opened/closed. The classroom has cushy flooring throughout. There are mats, blocks, straps and other items available for use during class. If you have issues hearing or with auditory processing, I recommend setting up towards the front as the music can be a little loud. The instructor was so sweet. I liked her approach to yoga as a practice and form of play or exploration. The class was challenging with adjustments and modifications to make it easier or more challenging based on your needs. The end of the class was a heavenly shavasana with a much needed cool wet towel.

Although I’ve done Bar Method locations before I arrived 15min early for check in, seeing the facility, and meeting the instructor. I suggest any class pass user do this regardless if they’ve done classes but are trying a new location :) Suzie was very helpful and instructional providing many modifications for the variety of students from first timers to regulars who want a challenge. I always see reviews that new students are turned off by being approached, adjusted, or corrected in a class setting but I encourage anyone who sees the physical and mental results/benefits of workout classes to give it a chance and know that even the most seasoned veterans get corrected or adjusted from time to time!
