But maybe because I’m not used to her treatment style, I find the whole process bit too harsh on my cuticles (I got a few minor cuts here and there). It can be a bit tricky to communicate my aesthetics and preferences, my nails turned out ok but I likely won’t be coming back.

I did have hard gel from another salon, so there was a removal charge of $30, which is pretty standard for salons. The actual removal and manicure (I got cat eye) only took just under an hour, so I think perhaps 90 minutes allocates time if you want to select a more complex option. I’ll definitively be back!
