He has a keen ability to bring the class his students back to the breath, to drop inside, and to be present. His sequences are also challenging so you get a good physical workout along with the mental workout, and he always flows to a great playlist which makes the fly by like a dance. I always leave refreshed and ready to take on the world after Donny's class!

The flow was great and I really loved the little balance game she did towards the end. The eucalyptus towel fanning and the candles are such a wonderful bonus. Overall, class was challenging, light-hearted, and invigorating!

se alle anmeldelserExcellent instructor! If you’re going to pack the classes that Full, you need to open the door or install a fan, some circulation or AC. Instructor didn’t want open the door because of the sunlight being so bright. The lack of air circulating gave me a migraine. Additionally there’s a water spot again in the far right corner in the front on the ceiling, toxic mold accumulates with these water damages. The area needs to be simply wiped out and the panel needs to be replaced. it’s been like this for a long time. Said kindly, it is time to replace it.

I will say Indie as a whole has a few things that happen consistently which have contributed to me frequenting the studio less often. 1) lack of timeliness - they let people trickle in late which leads to class starting and ending late. 2) less common of an occurrence but the front desk people sometime vacuum, chat, etc during savasana which would be fine any other time of class while music is pumping but is disrupting during your final rest posture.

se alle anmeldelserNicole (the instructor and owner) was very welcoming, took the time to talk to people individually as they came in, and had a great mentality for class - that she was just happy we were here regardless of what everyone was doing. It’s nice to have a teacher with a positive and inclusive attitude instead of one who’s barking orders at the class - she also had great clear cues for every movement! The studio itself was super clean and spacious, plus there’s an ocean view when you walk out into the shopping center. Only downside was that parking was only free for an hour in the garage, so unless you are late or leave early you do have to pay but that’s not the studios fault.

I know a lot of people like the heat but for those of us who don’t, please don’t advertise the temperature incorrectly. I never would have come to a class that hot because it makes my nervous system super activated. I do yoga to cultivate inner peace and I feel the opposite of peaceful right now :(

Loved the Vinyasa class and was surprised how flexible I was with the infrared, didn’t think I would be able to do some of the poses because I hadn’t done yoga in a few months and was tight all over. Which I love. The lights were perfect. I hate when workout classes have the lights on high beam. We are all sweating. . So having it dim is the way it should always be. Music was also great! haven't worked that hard in awhile. If you want to get in shape I would highly suggest taking her class.

Many variations of poses were presented throughout each transition to either scale back or intensify your practice. Hands in assistance was also offered, which is always a nice bonus! Core power always has free locks for lockers, showers with use of toiletries and for purchase water and other items. I loved this studio and will be returning often!
