The instructor is super awesome, but if you’re new, you might have to stand around awkward before someone gives you instructions after you walk into the studio as there are no greeters/front desk personnel besides the instructor who’s getting ready for class. I know it says on the description, but having more than one person per pole seems like a difficult class to lead, especially with beginners, since you can’t quite practice without feeling like you’re encroaching on someone else’s space, even though everyone is super nice about it. I think if you wanted to try this class, definitely go with an even number of people or bring one friend with you so you’re sharing a pole with someone you know and are comfortable with! But if you were thinking about maybe going to a pole dancing class but were too scared to, I think this is a great first studio. Very nice, very open, and respectful!!

se alle anmeldelserI love this studio, man 🤣 I usually do Hoop but decided to try pole after seeing a recent performance. It's definitely challenging but training with students who are at higher levels allows you to see the trajectory of the skills you're learning and how they execute the movements. Vix and the others in class were so helpful and encouraging, and that's usually the environment at The Hive. I love being able to learn and grow but also that we laugh and encourage and help each other grow.
