The choice of music was great too (not sure if it was intentional) but it became more upbeat as the class went on aligning with the flow class. The studio is also very calming. Only downside for this studio is that there’s no hair dryer.

see all reviewsGood class. Clear instructions and Lishan made sure to demo some of the non-standard variations. Plenty of options to adapt the postures to your own practice level and the sequences are interesting enough although I felt that some transitions were a bit clunky and didn't flow well therefore distracting from the rhythm of the class. Still enjoyable all in all.

see all reviewsFirst class with Megan, and I would say she's one of the better teachers at YM. Class was well planned with a good mix of postures and a lot of options to adjust them to your personal practice level. Lots of opportunities to practice more advanced skills. I don't think I have been to a class with as many arm balance and inversion poses as this one - crow, EPK, dragonfly, side crow, pincha, headstand, tripod and even a chance to have a go at handstands! Obviously, it is quite an intense class, but perfect for more advanced yogis who are looking for a challenge.

see all reviewsAs an instructor myself, this is one of the more unique classes I’ve been to. The sequence was extremely well thought out with each pose intentionally set, all nicely leading up to the peak poses. However, I would not recommend this class to anyone who is not familiar with vinyasa at all because v few cues were given. There were also no modifications/options given for injuries and one of the students had to watch the rest for a major part of the class. Would’ve also appreciated a longer warmup and cool-down but nevertheless I would book back in! :)

see all reviewsRah really pushes to lift heavy which is great because sometimes you underestimate yourself. However doing 2 sections (legs group on one side of the studio, upper body group on the other) at the same time is not ideal. It might be better to have a longer warm up or to stagger the classes as one side is left waiting while the instructor demos for the other.

He stopped clapping after a while. I would say the class is beginner friendly because you just have to do what you can. I felt that was no judgment from him, which I appreciated.
